Phil Rogers

Phil commenced his career with GKN in Darlaston, West Midlands as a commercial apprentice. He subsequently moved to Tucker Fasteners, a subsidiary of United Shoe Machinery Corporation in Birmingham. In 1976 he attended Teacher Training College and taught for two years in Slough before moving to City of Wolverhampton College in 1979 where he retired in December 2008 having completed 31 years in Education.

Phil first visited the Island with his wife and son in 1989 and purchased a flat in 1996. He has now bought a house and resides in Seaview.
