David Groom trained as a chartered accountant and for ten years worked for one of the larger UK firms of chartered accountants. Although his main role was within the audit and small business services section, he increasingly found himself fulfilling an IT role. After a one-year break backpacking round the Pacific region David returned to the Isle of Wight where he decided to set up business as a self-employed web designer on the isle of wight.
His hobbies include computing (particularly Linux), Salsa dancing, sailing and walking.
